How to take care of your eyes

The eyes muscles are one of the weakest muscles of your body. The eyes can get tired due to pollution, computer strain. Most of the offices have got computerized and one sits in front of the computer all the time. The lights emitted by that can strain your eyes. The more you sit in front of the computer the more strained your eyes can become. This can cause headaches also. Below are few tips that you can use to prevent your eyes from getting painful. Few of the exercises are given here. Most of the eye tensions and strain can be reduced by performing these exercises.

First Exercise:
This exercise will relax your eyes. For this you have to sit in a relaxed position. Place your palms on your eyes but do not press it hard. Let your palms be there for few seconds and at the same time breathe normally but deeply.

Second Exercise
Look on your left for 5 seconds then on your right for the same time. Make around 4-5 such repetitions.

Third Exercise
continuously blinks your eyes tightly. Do this closing and opening your eyes quickly.

Fourth Exercise
Make a circle in front of you. Then try to concentrate on this for a long. Do not blink your eyes. Perform this process till tears come out of your eyes.

Fifth Exercise:
Focus your eyes on any object which is near to you for few seconds. Then change your focus on an object is farer than the previous one. This changes the focal length and does wonder to your eyes.

Do any exercise of your choice but only remember that it is the focal length which you have to change. You have to see different objects placed at different places. Never focus on any such devices that emit radiations for a long time like television, computers, laptops etc.

One side today’s technology has provided many comforts and time saving gadgets to us but at the same time the same technology has provided us many health related problems also. Increase in pollution, dust excessive use of television etc. can cause many problems. One common problem that one can get is related to the eyes. The redness of eyes, itchiness swelling has become common. We can take initial steps which are very easy to take and can result fruitful in a long run. Few of these are:

(1) in the morning walk barefoot on dew-laden grass. This helps activate blood tissues and entire ocular system.

(2) Take some water and fill your mouth with it. Now splash your eyes with cold water which cleanses your eyes.

(3) While sitting gin front of the computer the level of your head should be in level with the computer.

(4) Do not sit in the dark while watching television or working in computer. As darkness causes strain in the eyes.

(5) While reading makes sure that the light source is behind you. The light should come from your backside.

Benefits of Drinking Milk

Drinking milk has many benefits on body. Milk is one of the most commonly drunk beverages by most of the people. Animals and Human beings drink milk. Milk is a plain white substance which is liquid in nature. The purity of milk can be checked at house. For this put few drops of milk on a slanted vessel and let it come down its own. If the milk comes without stopping then it is not pure but if it comes leaving behind the spots then it is pure. Milk is rich in calcium. We all know that calcium is an important element in the proper growth of bones. In the absence of calcium the bones become weak. Due to this many diseases get developed in the body. For infants, Goat’s milk is said to be the best but since goats are not found in the towns much so that can be substituted with Cow’s milk. Cow’s milk provides 67kcal while buffalo milk supplies 117kcal of energy per 100ml. The fat content in buffalo milk is double than that of cow milk. There are dairies also which supply milk. So you can buy milk from there also. The configuration process is used in dairies for fat separation. There two third of fat is saturated while one third is unsaturated.
We know that without strong bones and skeletons we cannot move along. We will get tired soon and the chance of the breakage of bones also increases. The main element for this is Calcium. Normally a serving of milk which is normally 35% is sufficient enough to add in your daily life. But if the bones and teeth are week then increase the quantity of milk consumed.

Often milk consumption is associated with many disorders like gas, bloating, cramping etc. This is due to the indigestion of enzyme called lactose. This cannot be avoided. The solution is to take cold milk instead of hot milk. Otherwise milk is a good thing for health. The essential minerals in milk are Calcium, Phosphorous, Sodium and Potassium.
